First impressions, the Yocan Jaws has a sleek matte black finish with a OLED digital display screen located on the body. One side is a dabbing thermometer and the other is a ceramic hot knife. The hot knife portion is covered by a tip cap that resembles the snout of a shark, hence the name Jaws!
The ceramic hot knife tip heats up to temperature quickly to make loading of your dabs quick and clean. This electric dab tools working temperature is around 210 degrees to 300 degrees so that it does not burn or vaporize your wax while you are working with it. Also the shape of this tip is great for cutting through slabs of wax to get your perfectly sized dab!
Prior to loading you would want to check the temperature of your banger or dab nail, this is where the dab thermometer comes in handy. The other end of the Jaws is an IR thermometer which means the temperature of your dabbing surface is detected by an infrared laser. This innovative dab temperature reader is not required to touch the surface, the laser needs to be pointed 1 inch from your dabbing surface.
