With coconut coals you need to use a stove, with these Black King Bamboo Hookah Charcoals all you need is a lighter and you're good to go. Blow on them as it lights and either light it near/out a window, or outside. Always be sure not to drop your lit charcoal (obviously) this is why it's best to have your prepared bowl near you as you light the charcoal, then once its lit, place it on to the bowl, then place the bowl onto your hookah.
